For nearly two years a South Carolina woman thought she was sending checks, gift cards and receiving messages from Dierks Bentley. Turns out, it was someone she met on Twitter pretending to be Dierks and scamming her out of nearly $160,000. Why she was sending the money in the first place, I do not know.
