An interview between Drew Barrymore and Vice President Kamala Harris went viral after the daytime talk show host urged the VP to be the "Momala of the country."

On Monday (April 29), Harris appeared on an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show during which Barrymore suggested the vice president be a mother to the nation.

"I've been thinking that we really all need a tremendous hug in the world right now," Barrymore said on her talk show.

"But in our country, we need you to be Momala of the country," the actress added after sliding closer to Harris on her interview couch.

Following Barrymore's comment, Harris appeared unsure how to respond.

"Yeah, I mean," the vice president said.

Barrymore then came closer to Harris and held her hands as the audience applauded.

Social media users shared their thoughts on Barrymore asking Harris to be America's "Momala."
