Ex-Guns N' Roses Guitarist Gilby Clarke Unveils 'The Gospel Truth' Single

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke has unveiled the title track from his forthcoming studio album, The Gospel Truth.

"The Gospel Truth" is the second single from the album, which is Clarke's first solo record in over a decade and his eighth overall.

"The truth is whatever someone says out loud, no one is accountable and it's puzzling," read a statement on the new single. "Reflecting on an upbringing within the Catholic church, Clarke touches upon the idea that honesty shouldn't come from fear, and encourages the listener to be brave, say what you mean, and mean what you say."

The previous single from the record, "Rock N Roll Is Getting Louder," was accompanied by an official music video featuring Clarke and his band, featuring bassist EJ Curse and drummer Jimmy D'Anda.
